In film Malangi, Madam Noor Jehan's mega hit song Mahi we sanu bhul na javeen... was filmed on Firdous - which gave her extreme popularity - ironically, she lost the battle to survival against the "IronLady" (Noor Jehan) in the mid 70s, due to her affair with Ejaz who was husband of madam.....She married many times, first with Punjabi film hero Akmal then producer Sheikh Nazir Hussain and Ejaz.
