Akriti Kakkar Singer Biography, Interview & Pictures

Akriti Kakar (born 14 July 1987) is an Indian singer turned actress. She was born and brought up in Dehli. She has sung songs for notable bollywood actors ShahRukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoors films. The most notable of her songs are Dil Vich from Chup Chup Ke, Aanan Fanan from Namastey London, Inshahallah from Welcome, Johnny Gaddar from Johnny Gaddar, Khudaya Khair from Billu, Tha Kar Ke from Golmaal Returns, Dil Khol Ke Let's Rock from We Are family and Aa Jaane Ja from Hello Darling.

In April 2010, Akriti released her first album namely "Akriti". It comprises seven songs sung by her. Music for four of the songs has been composed by herself whereas the other three songs have been composed by Filmfare Award winning music composer Shankar Mahadevan.
