Vijayakumar is a senior Kollywood film artiste in Chennai.
Personal Background
Vijayakumar was born in Nattuchalai in India. He has six children, two daughters and aa son (Arun Vijay) from his wife, Muthulakshmi, and three daughters with his mistress, the yesteryear actress Manjula. Arun Vijay, his only son, is an actor, whilst his daughters, Vanitha, Pritha and Sridevi Vijaykumar have all appeared in a couple of films each, without tasting particular success.
Film career
He has played a variety of films and is a 'cult' favourite. At his peak, it was thought a perfect film needed Vijayakumar in the supporting cast. He has acted as a friend, villain, brother and father of his contemporary star Rajinikanth at various points in time of his film career.
