Daniel Balaji is a versatile Tamil actor, who has done splendid roles in many films and is one of the most promising actor in the present tamil film industry.

He did an extraordinary role in the "CHITHI" serial playing Daniel. People recognised him for his extraordinary performance and got the name "Daniel Balaji" after "Chithi" happened.He debuted with "April Maadathil" film in Kollywood.He also did a role in "Kadhal Kondain".His first big role was the role of "Srikanth" he played in Kaakha Kaakha as a police officer beside the hero Surya.From then on there was no looking back for this talented actor. His next big role and his best so far was his role of "Amudhan" in the blockbuster Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu in which he plays the role of a psychopath killer and a medical student. Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu was a story about a serial killer and "Daniel" gave some fabulous performance showing villainous attitude against the legendary "Kamal Hassan". This might be the only tamil film which had another actor getting lot of accolades other than Kamalhassan.His next film "Polladhavan" was also widely appreciated and the movie turned out to be a blockburster.He also acted as one of the villains in telugu film 'Chirutha'. His future projects are widely expected. He redifined Villainism in tamil cinema as everyone says. A very young actor playing a promising villain is rare to see in Indian cinema and Daniel is here to stay.
