Pavitra's character Geet is born and brought up in Bhatinda, she is a lively girl who believes in living life to the fullest and making the most of it. She lives in a big joint family that consists of the most loving and caring people who pamper her to no end. She loves to talk and can go on for hours without getting tired. She is also a highly persuasive girl and will not rest until she gets what she wants. She is passionate about fashion.

Pavitra is from Delhi. Her hometown is Baghpath, in Uttar Pradesh. She is into modeling and has appeared on the reality show MTV Splitsvilla. She started getting offers 3 years ago and did a few shoots thenn she thought about it more seriously and decided to pursue it professionally,more a career than a hobby,which is what she has been treating it as so far.Pavitra has done about above 85 shoots,prints,catalogue,cover,above 60 ramp shows with well known brands,agencies and organisations. She is planning to get into Bollywood now.

Pavitra became famous as a reality show contestant of Splits Villa 3. MTV Splitsvilla is an Indian television reality show that airs on MTV India. Splitsvilla is one of its kind hunt for love show in the locales of Phuket. The tagline of the show is "World War 3 of Love". She was queen for episodes 5, 6, 10. She was one of the three finalists.
Her biggest break was starring in the show Love U Zindagi on STAR Plus. Love u Zindagi is a Bi-weekely Indian television drama-series that airs on STAR Plus.The series premiered on January 29, 2011 and airs every Saturday - Sunday at 7pm. It tells the story of a young,bold and chulbuly girl Geet.T he show is loosely based on the Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor starrer Jab We Met. The show is set in a Punjabi Backdrop.
